Netherlands join Ireland at the top of the table. We will be back tomorrow with the Group A matches. Till then, ciao ciao

Peter Borren: "We did struggle in manageable chases in warm-ups, and we wanted to get over this one. We slowed down a bit towards the end and but I am happy to get over the line. Myburgh set things up brilliantly and Tom Cooper was superb. I would have settled for chasing 165-170 and I think we dragged them back well."

Khurram Khan: "The way we started and the way we were playing, I thought 175 was on. But three wickets in the 1516th over changed the game and they bowled and fielded well. We dropped so many catches and that probably made the difference in the end."

Tom Cooper is the Man of the Match. He says, "It's a good all-round effort by the boys. We missed out on a couple of opportunities during the practice games, but we came back well. The pitch was really nice, and the runs came quite nicely. (On his bowling) I was just trying to guess what they were looking to do. It's a bit hit an miss as well. Another day I could have gone for more."

Netherlands take this by six wickets. Their batting, which was a concern before the game, proved to be too powerful for UAE, who didn't help themselves by spilling a number of chances. The top order led by Stephen Myburgh made useful contributions and even though Netherlands slowed down towards the end, that initial impetus meant they were never in any trouble. Lots of areas to work on for UAE

another bouncer, but Ben manages to hook it down to fine leg for a single

another short ball, the batsman gets into awkward position, but manages to get his head out of the way

Zain: "Just awful stuff by UAE fielding. The one "positive" they can take is, they have slowed Netherlands to help with NRR. The only way UAE gets in now will be to beat somebody on NRR, so at least they have not crippled themselves in that."

full delivery on off, the batsman punches it to wide mid on for a single

Shazad to Borren, OUT

Yes! A catch is taken finally! This time at third man. Borren was getting boring with his cross-batted swipes, so as he sees this bounces, he arches back and stylishly ramps it towards third man, but fails to get any distance. The fielder - Silva it is - holds on to a simple chance.

bowls that back-of-the-hand slower ball, the batsman punches it to long on for an easy single

back of length delivery on off, the batsman pushes it straight to midwicket

Javed to Borren, 1 run

another slower ball! another drop! This looks awful. The batsman goes for a slog sweep and gets a big top edge towards short fine leg. The keeper calls early and should have taken it, but he didn't even get close to it. Completely misjudged

16.2
Javed to Borren, no run

now a quicker one! This one beats the outside edge too. Borren was looking to push it to cover and he was walking into the shot

16.1
Javed to Borren, no run

beautiful slower delivery! The batsman goes for an ugly mow and is lucky that this somehow bounces over the off stump.

nice flick! That has flown away quickly to the fine leg boundary. It was a full delivery, way down the leg side and Cooper just whips it through with ease

goes for a yorker, but this in on the pads and neatly tucked away to deep midwicket

wow! That surprises everyone with the cut and bounce! It beats the shoulder of the bat and bounces over the off stump
