So not a great deal of action from the second session in Chittagong and a medicore D/L result but New Zealand take the points. More action coming up tomorrow, so stay with us for the best coverage of the World T20 and plenty of reaction to come from the games we've had today. But that's all from the commentary box, bye for now...

At the indoor presentation, Corey Anderson is Man of the Match for his couple of wickets and two fine catches. Here's the losing England captain Stuart Broad: "I think it would have been a good game had it game 40 overs, both sides were at a similar stage at the end of the Powerplay but you can't do a huge amount about the weather. We should have come off for the lightning earlier. The umpires' decision making was average in that regard.

Here's Brendon McCullum: "During our innings it was wet and the top surface was slippery so hopefully we can overcome that and take the toss factor out of it. But the game was evenly poised. It's a funny tournament, both teams are going to need an immense amount of luck to get through. Both teams will be pleased with the performance but we're obviously delighted with the win."

11pm Still raining and 23 more minutes until the cut off time. It's looking unlikely we're going get any more cricket here now. Which is good news for New Zealand because they're ahead on Duckworth-Lewis but heartbreak for England because we're just three balls over what's required for a result to stand. And now it's officially been abandoned so New Zealand win by nine runs via the Duckworth-Lewis method.

There's been a shift in the calculations and the cut off time is now 11.23pm so a little longer to try and get out. But could be irrelevant if the rain continues to fall.

10.40pm The rain has returned and now we're wondered if there's going to be a long enough break here to get back out. Half an hour more before cut off time. While we wait, why not read about Kusal Perera's antics earlier on today as Sri Lanka got their tournament off to a fine start with victory over South Africa.

10.25pm The rain has relented and they're trying to get the covers off. We start losing overs from 10.30 so if they scramble out in the next couple of minutes we could still get a full 20-over contest here. But now the covers are going back on!

10.15pm Rain continuing to fall. We get an extra half-hour to try and get the overs in but not looking too good for further cricket at the moment. I'll keep you posted. The cut off time is 11.10pm.

10pm Now the rain comes and we're dashing off into the pavilion. New Zealand ahead on D/L at the stage and we've had five overs so it will be a result with no more cricket. The square has been covered but nothing else if that's any kind of positive sign. The rain isn't too heavy, just a flash of nasty stuff but still drizzling. Now the heavy stuff has come back and that's a worry for England...

McCullum pulls away from the delivery because there was a huge crack of lightning and a rumble of thunder! The groundstaff scramble, not sure what's happening at the moment, there's no rain but we've stopped playing...

Dernbach to Guptill, OUT

atouch shorter and Guptill tries to pull, get it all wrong and pops up a catch to Jordan at midwicket. Right off the splice of the bat, it skidded on a bit quicker than Guptill was expecting and went almost straight up, Jordan coming to his right to take an easy catch
