So South Africa take the first ODI by four wickets, thanks mainly to an unbeaten 91 from the rock-solid captain, Jaques Kallis. A great innings, never breaking a sweat, driving on the up and flicking the spinners into the gaps on the on-side. He also had two wickets and two catches, he's the Man of the Match.

Put in to bat, India were given a solid total of 242 thanks to Sachin Tendulkar's 99 - his first such score in his entire career, in any form of the game. Andre Nel (3-47) led the bowling honours, but he was well suppored by Andrew Hall and Vernon Philander.

South Africa go one-up, with two more to play. Do join us again for the next game, on June 29th at 09:45 GMT. I hope you've enjoyed our coverage. Until next time, this is Jamie Alter, your commentator for the game, signing off. Cheers!

Yuvraj Singh to Philander, FOUR runs, all over! Philander seals the deal in style, coming out of his crease and clobbering a nicely tossed up delivery down to long-off

Everyone comes in now...

Yuvraj Singh to Philander, 1 run, tossed up, he frees the arms and cuts into the covers
