Thats that then, India winning by six wickets in the final over. They won the toss, put South Africa in to bat under overcast conditions, kept them to 225 for 6, and chased it down. Tendulkar led the way with his innings-filled 93, in the process crossing 15,000 ODI runs, and he was well supported in an opening stand of 134 by Ganguly (42). After a brief wobble, Yuvraj and Karthik held fort to clinch the deal with five deliveries to spare.
The series is now even on 1-1 with one game left, thats coming up in a couple days time.
India were under pressure to notch up a win here, and they did that, though not without a fight from South Africa.
Tendulkar picks up the Man of the Match award for his innings of 93, and he pockets US$1000.
