What an exciting finish to the final! Needing 10 from the last over, the Blues have squeezed home by five wickets to take out the title for 2008/09. Quiney's 91 off 56 balls to lead the Bushrangers through to 4 for 166. Aaron Bird bowled well with three for 21 from four overs. However, it was a Man of the Match innings from Ben Rohrer with 44 not out of 20 balls which took his side to the nail-biting victory. Hughes scored an important 43 at the top of the order and Katich made 37 but it was Rohrer's powerful blade... which made the difference in the end. Both teams now go through into the Champions League Twenty20 Tournament later in the year. On behalf of the crew here at Cricinfo, this is Marc Ellison saying thanks for joining us tonight, we hope to have your company again soon.
