Scorecard
Pakistan thumped Bangladesh by nine wickets in a must-win game to reach the tri-nation final, where they will meet Sri Lanka on Tuesday.
Bangladesh failed to carry the momentum from their win over Sri Lanka on Friday and were bowled out for 94, with opener Ayesha Akhter top scoring with 21. Legspinner Naila Nazir picked up 3 for 23 in 6.4 overs. But it was Almas Akram and Qanita Jalil who triggered the collapse by reducing Bangladesh to 31 for 2 in 10.1 overs. Sana Mir took two wickets, including Ayesha's, as Bangladesh were dismissed in 34.4 overs.
Pakistan's openers, Jalil and Bismah Maroof, knocked off 42 of the runs before Jalil was bowled by Salma Khatun for a 25-ball 24. Nain Abidi then joined Maroof at the crease and the two took Pakistan to victory with nearly 30 overs to spare.
