Right then. That brings an end to our coverage of this match of the PSL. It has been a frantic Friday thus far. We saw India lose seven wickets for 11 runs in the Test afgainst Australia and Lahore lost five wickets for the addition of as many runs. For a brief while, after the collapse and the start of the partnership between Sunil Narine and Aamer Yamin, the match resembled exactly a highlights package with almost every ball producing either a wicket or a boundary. In the end, it was always going to be hard to recover from that kind of collapse, and though Lahore fought hard, there were no major surprises as Peshawar came out on top. This has been some match. Islamabad United take on Quetta Gladiators next. What will that game have in store? Stay tuned. That's it from this game. Cheers!

Obaid khan: "Wow... in psl every match is nail biting.. hope more nail bitter matches are on the way!!!!!"

Darren Sammy: It was a crucial game and we were tempted to bowl first. But we looked at their squad and knew if we could pick up early wickets, we could put them under pressure and today the decision worked well. We came back good. They came back well into the game when Narine was in the middle of that partnership, but we wanted to win and we did that today. We have been winning tosses and bowling, but to do something different and put runs on the board, our batsmen came to the fore. Everyone chipped in in the back, I thought 150 was a par score and we got 165.

Brendon McCullum: Anytime you lose five wickets like that, it is going to be tough, but we fought well and will look to come back well in the next game. We lost three wickets trying to be defensive, but credit to the opposition. They played well and their spinners bowled well. Our next game is crucial. We know if we turn up well, we can play. We are up against a strong Karachi side.

Shakib Al Hasan: It's a bit uncomfortable, but I'll take it. I think it was crucial to score those runs at that time and it gave us the extra 10 runs' advantage. It was not an easy wicket, 160 would have been par, but we got 165. When the team needs me, I like to contribute. I landed the ball in the right areas, but we bowled well overall as a group.

Shakib Al Hasan is the Man of the Match for his 30 runs and two wickets.

7.08pm All set for the presentations. Ramiz Raja to do the honours.

7pm Lahore have been comprehensively outplayed. That the margin of defeat was brought down to 17 runs was down to late contributions from Sunil Narine, Aamer Yamin, Sohail Tanvir and Yasir Shah. The top and middle order, barring Cameron Delport, cut a sorry figure. Delport was brilliant, in fact, setting the tone early with a 15-ball 32. But how they slid after that. Mohammad Rizwan was unlucky to be given out, but that does not take anything away from Peshawar's bowlers, especially Shakib Al Hasan and Mohammad Hafeez, who tied the batsmen up in knots and were chiefly responsible for the collapse. The result is that Peshawar shoot up to second from fourth position, but they are still not guaranteed of a spot in the knockouts. Lahore take their spot on fourth position, so the two teams have traded position son the points table. We will have the presentations with you shortly.

Mubeen: "in next match L.Q should replace rizwan with azhar ali, maccullum can keep wickets. azhar can take the innings long and other can do the acceleration. "

uzair : "Weldone peshawar zalmi"

Shaukat: "Sammy has used 7 bowlers...many alrounders in zalmi"

Farrukh : "Lahore have only themselves to blame for this. This was a road to bat on. "

Faheem Shah: "Thanks for Yameen, Tanveer and Narine making it some contest."

short ball, gets big on him and he responds with a hurried pull as the ball goes through midwicket

Afridi to Tanvir, no run

what a catch that is from Sammy! He is not sure though and they have to refer that upstairs. Seems like he has hurt his fingers too slightly. . Slogs it from the crease and Sammy runs in and dives forward at long-on. Seems like he has his fingers underneath it but it is touch and go. Not out is the call. It was not convincing and the umpire, not being 100 percent sure, does not give it

advances down the track to slog and misses the ball altogether. Kamran whips the bails off in a flash. That was quick from Afridi and Yasir was beaten by pace. Nice hand, though
