7.30pm Wow, what a spectacle. That's the sort of game you want to watch. Yeah, it takes teams to dig themselves into holes for that to happen, but can you complain after a finish like that? The very peak of T20 cricket, that finish. Phew. I'm going to take off for my weekend blood pressure check-up. This league is doing us all in. And it's not done - Peshawar v Quetta begins shortly. So switch over, if you can handle it! Thanks for joining in today. Hope you enjoyed the coverage. Good night.

Sanga: enjoyed the win. We did a lot of things right, a few wrong, but Pollard showed why he is so highly valued. He believes in his skill and backs himself, it's one of those things people have to learn. It took a special effort like his and Babar's, we were average at other times, so we need to improve.

McCullum: We've played some good cricket, but we just weren't good enough tonight. I think we had enough runs and with the spinners we had, we were happy with the total. Our energy in the field was outstanding, but we had a couple of bad moments.

Pollard: Thoroughly enjoyed it. At the end of it all, these are the sort of games you want to win for your team. We almost gave it away, but held on. With 14 to go, knew the bowler was under pressure. Didn't get the boundary early, but I kept the composure and waited for him to miss so I could hit.

7.20pm Kieron Pollard is the Man of the Match

Saim Polani: "No game in this PSL other than this game between Karachi and Lahore deserved this kind of a thriller, well played both the teams!!"

Our Pakistani correspondent Umar Farooq says this is also the most celebrated win in the press box! Loud roars, he says

Muhammad Safdar: "Yesterday 2 balls was the deciding balls of the match. And same is Today. PSL is going to be a contest of last two balls. Loved the thriller yesterday & today"

Saud: "I am crying so hard here....tears of joy.Love you pollard....a pakistani bleeds green for you...Great match....PSL wow"

...Karachi live to fight another day! They're going mad in the owners room there as the players settle down and line-up for the customary handshakes

Karachi will have to lose by a huge margin to Islamabad tomorrow for Lahore to have any sort of a sniff at staying in. For all practical purposes, they are out

Yamin to Pollard, SIX runs

he's done it! Overpitched and angled into the pads, he stands tall and whips it with all the Carribbean flair he can muster, watches it sail over the square leg boundary, throws the bat away, throws the helmet away, drops to the floor and does spontaneous push-ups!

Watch your breath, folks!

smashed away! They keep feeding him these overpitched balls outside off, he keeps dispatching them! He knew where it was coming, he held his shape and drilled it to McCullum's left at long-off

19.4
Yamin to Pollard, no run

yorker outside off, Amir has run off like a mad man in celebration. That was baffling. He only turns around and remembers to appeal after he reaches Pollard at the other end. He's just about nailed it inside the wide marker. Pollard has hit the ground with the bat. No edge. Not out.

1
Yamin to Imad Wasim, 1 run

full outside off, Pollard has taken off for the run before the ball reaches the other end. Cover drive goes straight to extra cover. Once again, mid-off was in and he's lucky to get away

...Everybody supporting Karachi was disappointed

1
Yamin to Pollard, 1 run

goes for the bouncer, misses it by some way. Short at middle, he swivels and pummels the pull shot straight to deep square. Pollard is disappointed

2
Yamin to Pollard, 2 runs

full outside off, slaps it flat to long-off's left. It's McCullum there this time and he moves nimbly and pushes it back into the ground as his feet shadow the boundary. Great fielding

Tanvir to Pollard, 3 runs

low full toss outside off, swings away slightly and gets the outside edge on his closed face. It flies over extra cover, to long-off where Akmal runs across to his left, gets down to it and tries to pull out some flair as he does a no-see flick to McCullum who ran back form extra cover...it lands wide of McCullum and they come back for a three for Pollard to keep strike

1w
Tanvir to Pollard, 1 wide

gets the length right, gets the line horribly wrong and Rizwan's face tells the story. They have to bowl another ball at Pollard

18.5
2
Tanvir to Pollard, 2 runs

full toss on the pads, whips it past square leg who is inside the circle, deep midwicket comes across but Pollard wants that second more than he wants anything and scampers back easily

18.4
Tanvir to Pollard, no run

that's more like it. In the blockhole, wide of off stump, tries to chop it to the off side, beaten

18.3
6
Tanvir to Pollard, SIX runs

that's not where to bowl! Overpitched outside off, stands tall and hits yet another one straight over the bowler. Bad length to bowl to Pollard

18.2
1b
Tanvir to Imad Wasim, 1 bye

over the wicket, good length outside off, he walks across the stumps to ramp it over short fine, Rizwan moved slightly to his right and had to fall down to stop the ball. Lost time as a result and couldn't get the throw in as they ran past

18.1
1
Tanvir to Pollard, 1 run

he would've got a wide for this one but he got bat on it. Full toss and well wide, bowled from around the wicket. He can only get the bottom of the bat to long-off

28 off 12. If you want to learn of pressure, volunteer to bowl this over with Pollard facing up.

yorker outside off, jammed out to long-off

17.5
Yamin to Pollard, no run

goes for the bouncer, it's slightly down the leg side, he's missed the pull and is furious with the umpire. He wants a wide. The rules state he isn't right to question the umpire, but outside of the law, everybody sympathizes with Pollard. That was well wide.

Yamin to Pollard, FOUR runs

is this his night? full at off stump, it's almost like he knows where it's coming. Hangs back, no feet, full face and lifts it over the bowler who has only slightly missed the length there

mid-off was in, he'll be disappointed

good length outside off, right in the crunching zone, he crunches alright. But it hits the bottom and bounces over McCullum and straight to long-off

Yamin to Pollard, 2 runs

is that another run out?! Yorker on the boots, flicks it to deep midwicket's right...he runs in, picks up and throws in on the bounce right next to the stumps...but the big man and his big stride have made it past the crease

37 off 18. What sort of minds will turn up today? Last night's batch were from the Implosion line

Strong comeback. Yorker at leg stump, tries to flick it, leading edge to point who almost over runs it but manages to retain balance in the end
