12.15 am: That ends our coverage for today. It's been a great playoff week in the PSL so far. One match to go and it's a big one. A Karachi v Lahore final. Both teams in the final for the first time. Make sure you join us for that in a couple of days. Till then, it's goodnight from me, Saurabh, on behalf of Thilak as well.

Sohail Akhtar: It's a big achievement to reach the final. The belief that was there for five years has paid off. They have got a lot of youngsters too and it's great for them that we are in the final. Our three fast bowlers are all 140+ and all have variations. I believe we can defend any total. The momentum we have, we'll try to continue going that way for the final. Keep the basics in place, batting and bowling."

Shan Masood: Both games we had in our hands. We can only look at ourselves. The spinners were brilliant, especially Lala. We thought we could keep them below 160, but no excuses. When we batted we had a great start. 91 for 2 in 10 overs, we should have chased it. Hindsight's always 20-20, it was just that we didn't execute our skills at the death. (On the long layoff) I'm not going to make any excuses. It was the same for everyone. The thing was we had two opportunities (to make the final) and we had both games in our hand. Hopefully we'll learn from these mistakes and come back."

David Wiese is not the man of the match. Just kidding. Of course he is. Who else could it be. "We had a nice little partnership towards the end. The spinners bowled well but we knew if we could hang in there and put pressure on the bowlers at the death we could get a few away. It worked out. (on bowling) Fortunate to bat first so we could sum up the conditions quickly. Wasn't a pitch where we could blow them away so change of pace was important, but length was also important. I know it's going to be a massive game (the final). Would have been awesome to have a packed house but everyone in Lahore is going to be supporting us. I think we've got one more push in us."

Ben Dunk: Been a different year and a difficult year but really proud to get into the finals and putting some smiles back on people's faces. (Wiese) was huge with the ball as well. I was reasonably confident with 180 on board. The ball gripped a little bit more tonight than last night but our guys adjusted well. They bowled a lot of change-ups. Nice to have a rest day tomorrow. Been a long journey for this franchise to get to the final.

11.52 pm: It's going to be Karachi Kings vs Lahore Qalandars in the final - it's a match several people wanted as the title clash. David Wiese has been the magic man for Lahore today, blasted 48* off 21 to pull them to a formidable 182 when they looked like they would do well to get 160 at one point. Then bowled his cutters into the pitch and took pace off to take 3 for 27. Grabbed a super catch at the boundary for good measure. Adam Lyth gave Multan a great start but they fell away after that, with the pace duo of Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf working up serious pace. Shaheen had walked off after two overs but came back to bowl two trouble free overs. We've got an exciting final in store. Both teams are first-time finalists, so we're guaranteed a new winner. Multan must still wait for a first final appearance. They came very close in Qualifier 1, but lost in a Super Over.

top edge taken at deep midwicket and it's all over. Swiped across the line, the ball went high in the air and was taken safely. Lahore Qalandars have marched into the PSL 2020 final.

26 needed off the last over by the last-wicket pair. Lahore can taste that first final. Dilbar to bowl.

Shaheen Shah Afridi to Junaid, 1 leg bye

won't get a hat-trick, but was close enough. Full ball swinging in hits him on the pads but it's clearly going down leg. Rolls off towards point for a leg-bye

brilliant catch by Ben Dunk behind the wicket. Snorter, short ball outside off that climbs on him. He can't get gloves out of the way, follows it with his hands and edges behind. Dunk has to tumble forward to grab it, and gets a glove underneath it, to scoop it up inches off the ground. The soft signal was not out but they've gone upstairs and it's clear Dunk caught it cleanly.

Shaheen Shah Afridi to Khushdil, OUT

caught at deep midwicket - is that the match? Shaheen kept it full, Khushdil can't get properly underneath the ball and ends up with more height than distance. The calm hand of Hafeez aren't spilling that. End of a fine hand by Khushdil, but he was always fighting an uphill battle.

that's run away for four and Shaheen is shaking his head. Full toss outside off, and he just pushed at it, but ended up placing it perfectly backward of point. No fielder there!

33 needed off 12. Dinesh Karthik territory now. Khusdhil is batting on 30 off 18. Would have been out for 9 off 10 if Dilbar hadn't over-stepped.

Wait a minute, he's overstepped by an inch, so that's a no-ball. Khushdil gets a life. And there's a free hit coming up to Ilyas.
