11.30 pm Peshawar's 145 did not seem out of reach, but thanks to some fine left-arm spin from Mohammad Asghar, it proved many more than enough. The uncapped bowler dismissed the Pakistan Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq, took two blinding catches to dismiss Andre Russell and Sam Billings and wins the Man of the Match award. Has an endearing sense of humour too, says he has big hands like most Pathans so it's hard to drop catches.

A few too many early wickets left Islamabad in strife on a slow turner and even with their powerful middle order, they came up short for a second night in a row. Peshawar captain Shahid Afridi dedicates the win to the Army Public School kids who were flown in to watch the match. That's all we have for you tonight. Thanks for joining us. See you tomorrow.

Junaid Khan to Saeed Ajmal, OUT
they were trying to pinch a bye and a gleeful Akmal underarms the throw to knock over Khalid and breaks into the widest smile you could ever see. These slower balls are becoming more and more deadly, even to the batsman at the other end! Ajmal misses, his partner gets out

Ahsan Butt: "Zalmi team is full of big names, and yet an unknown kid is leading the race for MoM award. This is what PSL is for."
