2.6 to Sediqullah Atal, goes straight up, and taken! On a length, pushed across the batter just outside off. Atal has a mow across the line and loses his shape slightly. The ball skews up off the leading edge and goes a mile up. Aravind calls for it early, charges in from deep backward point and completes the catch just beyond the ring. Naseem with the early wicket, and Atal departs after a cameo!. 23/1
| 4 | 1 | 26 | 2 | 6.50 | 14 | 3 | 1 | 1 | 0 | |
5.2 to JM Cox, hit into the deep, and caught in the deep again! Pushed in full on the stumps and to be fair to Cox, this is there to be hit. He clears his front leg, trying to mow it over cow corner but ends up dragging it too much. That brings Hetmyer into play at deep square leg. Hetmyer moves to his left, tumbles forward and sends Cox packing!. 32/3 19.4 to MD Shanaka, a wild mow across the line, and that will be that for Shanaka! Another change-up, dug into the track wide outside off. This gets up to near the back shoulder, meaning that Shanaka cannot control his pull. The ball goes straight up off the top edge and Naseem does the rest at short third!. 146/8
| 4 | 0 | 28 | 1 | 7.00 | 12 | 0 | 2 | 2 | 0 | |
3.2 to Gulbadin Naib, oh my days - Curran has plucked that out of thin air! A catch and a half, and he flexes his muscles to show off what he has just done! A bit of by-play, given that is what Naib usually does when he gets a wicket. This is on a fullish length just outside off. Naib wants to punch it down the ground but chunks it off the inside half. The ball flies to Curran's right, and he just nonchalantly flings out his mitt, making it stick clean. Brilliant, brilliant catch, and the Capitals in a bit of bother now!. 26/2
| 4 | 0 | 35 | 2 | 8.75 | 8 | 4 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
6.5 to Shayan Jahangir, and the ploy to have extra fielders in the ring pays off! Both mid off and mid on were up, and that perhaps tempts Jahangir into going downtown. Tries to go against the swing, though, and this full ball leaves him just enough to take the outer half of the bat. A tame slice int he end and mid off makes no mistake whatsoever!. 42/4 14.5 to R Powell, Tanveer has the last laugh, and he leaps into the air in delight! Slanted in on a length on off. Zips back in off the surface and Powell, with momentum on his side, looks to deposit this into tomorrow. Swings at it in slightly agricultural fashion and the bails go flying soon after. Tanveer is over the moon; Powell and the Capitals, not quite!. 101/6
| 4 | 0 | 25 | 2 | 6.25 | 11 | 3 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
11.1 to DJ Willey, hot knife through butter, and Willey is outta here! Googly fizzed in on a fullish length just outside off. Willey lines up the slog sweep but swings at it too wildly. Misses the line, misses the trajectory, misses the ball and then loses his stumps. Capitals five down now!. 67/5 18.1 to Mohammad Nabi, and the young gun trumps the veteran! Zipped in on a back of a length on middle and leg. Nabi has designs of swiping this over cow corner but is perhaps a touch early into the stroke. Swipes at fresh air and the ball clinks into the top of middle and leg. Noor holds his arms aloft in celebration, and this could be a big moment in the game!. 131/7

4.4 to Fakhar Zaman, six and out! Nabi plots Fakhar's downfall! Fired in on a back of a length on middle and leg. Skids in with the arm and Fakhar is cramped for room on the pull. Splices it a touch and the ball floats through to mid on, where Currie snares a regulation chance, albeit with a bit of a bobble. Fakhar's charge is halted, and could this hand the Capitals a way back into the contest?. 50/1

14.5 to SO Hetmyer, smart grab at mid off, and Hetmyer has to go! Slower ball on a back of a length on middle and off. Hetmyer gives himself room, trying to go over mid off. Cannot come to grips with the lack of pace, though, and he mistimes it slightly. Cox tracks it all the way and then leaps to complete a tidy overhead catch. Vipers five down now!. 127/5 16.5 to Hasan Nawaz, deceived by the slower one, and the Vipers lose another! Well-disguised slower ball, pitching on a back of a length outside off. Lots of over-spin on this too and Nawaz has an agricultural mow across the line. Drags it off the inside edge and the Vipers, from a position of relative comfort, are getting into nervy territory now!. 133/6
| 4 | 0 | 18 | 2 | 4.50 | 12 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
12.4 to SM Curran, no respite for Curran on this occasion, though! Almost a carbon copy of the previous ball. On a back of a length on middle stump and turning back in. Curran hops back for the pull but the ball is not short enough to execute that stroke perfectly. A bit of a shank and deep mid wicket does the rest, well inside the fence!. 108/3 12.6 to AGS Gous, does him all ends up, and Salamkheil has produced a ripper to remove Gous! Googly fizzed through on a full length on middle and leg. Gous props forward, trying to cover the line and play out Salamkheil's spell. The ball, though, dips on him late, meaning that he is not to the pitch of the ball. It also spins sharply enough to breeze past the outside edge and knock back off stump. Gous has a puzzled look on his face as he walks back, but he has been utterly outplayed there. Take nothing away from the knock, though, which could still prove to be decisive!. 109/4
| 3 | 0 | 28 | 1 | 9.33 | 4 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
9.4 to MDE Holden, dragged on, and Naib is on the board! Shortish again and wide outside off, meaning Holden has to fetch this from outside the line. He loses his shape in doing so, with the bottom hand taking over far more than he would have liked. All he manages is an under-edge that crashes into his stumps, and the Capitals have a wicket immediately after the time-out!. 85/2
