5 for 50 Josh Hazlewood's bowling figures, his second best in ODIs, after his haul of 5 for 31 against South Africa in Perth in 2014. It is only the second ODI five-for by an Australian bowler in the West Indies, after Mitchell Johnson's 5 for 29 against the home team in Basseterre in 2008.

2006 The last time West Indies reached the final of an ODI tournament (excluding the tri-nation Scotiabank Series in 2008, which also involved Canada and Bermuda). In 2006, West Indies reached the final of the Champions Trophy, but lost to Australia, again, by eight wickets.

6 Man-of-the-Match awards for Marsh in ODIs in the last two years, which is the joint highest, along with Steven Smith, among Australian players. From all teams, only AB de Villiers (10) and Martin Guptill (7) have won more match awards during this period.

2 Instances of 30-plus runs and three or more wickets for Marsh in ODIs in 2016; against New Zealand in Hamilton in February, he had scored 41 and taken 3 for 34. In the last four years, there have been only three such performances by Australians, two of them by Marsh.

9 ODI innings without a 50-plus score for Matthew Wade, before his unbeaten 57 in the final. In these nine innings, he averaged only 14.33 with a highest of 37. His unbeaten 57 is also his first 50-plus score in ten ODI innings against West Indies.

2012 The last time, before the final, that none of Australia's top-six batsmen topped 50 in an ODI against West Indies. That was in St Vincent, when Australia made 154 in 40 overs and lost by five wickets. In 11 ODIs between these two teams, there has been at least one 50-plus score in every match for Australia's top six against West Indies.
