Rising Pune Supergiant's biggest weakness this season has been their bowling. As the season has progressed, however, their overseas stars have stood up. The Indian bowlers, such as Jaydev Unadkat and Shardul Thakur, aren't too far behind either. Against Sunrisers Hyderabad, they combined to deliver a crucial win in the closing stages of the regular season.

Defending 148, Ben Stokes sparked Sunrisers' slide by taking out their form batsmen, Shikhar Dhawan, David Warner and Kane Williamson. Still, there was plenty of work to do. The bulk of the responsibility was shouldered on Unadkat, and he delivered. With 32 runs required off 18 balls, Unadkat picked up two wickets, Yuvraj Singh and Naman Ojha, in the 18th over.

Then, with 12 to defend off the final over, Unadkat did what no other bowler has been able to do. He claimed a hat-trick, the 17th of the IPL, and didn't concede a run to help Rising Pune breach the Sunrisers fortress.
