Recently, an ESPNcricinfo jury announced its all-time IPL XI out of nominees shortlisted by our readers. We asked our readers to undertake the same exercise. Here's the XI they picked.
The nominees (lists below) for the readers' all-time IPL XI had been divided into two categories: batsmen and keepers, and allrounders and bowlers. The 11 players with the highest votes were selected with the following conditions: minimum five from batsmen and keepers (including one keeper), minimum five from allrounders and bowlers, and a maximum of four overseas players.
The readers' all-time IPL XI had three changes from the one our jury selected: David Warner, AB de Villiers and Ravindra Jadeja replace Chris Gayle, Virender Sehwag, and Lasith Malinga, who missed out by a narrow margin to Dwayne Bravo.
