322 Target successfully chased by Sri Lanka - their joint-highest in ODIs. They had chased down 322 against England at Headingley in 2006. This is also the highest successful chase in the Champions Trophy, beating England's 306 against Bangladesh in the first game of this edition.
9 Instances Sri Lanka have scored 300-plus in successful chases away from home - the most by any team, going past India's eight such wins.
159 Second-wicket partnership between Danushka Gunathilaka and Kusal Mendis - the third highest for Sri Lanka in the Champions Trophy and also the third-highest for any pair against India in the tournament. Since the 2015 World Cup, Sri Lanka's batsmen have added 15 century partnerships of which eight have been for the second wicket.
11 Fifty-plus scores for Kusal Mendis in his short, 27-ODI career. Since Mendis' ODI debut, in June 2016, only Joe Root has more fifty-plus scores (12). No Sri Lanka player has scored more runs than Mendis' 945 since June last year.
3 Man-of-the-Match awards for Mendis in ODIs. Since his debut, all other Sri Lanka players combined won only three match awards. Overall, only David Warner (6), Babar Azam (4) and Joe Root (4) have won more Man-of-the-Match awards since Mendis' debut.
322 The joint-highest target India have failed to defend successfully in ODIs. It is the second such instance for the side - in 2007, India could not defend 322 against Pakistan in Mohali.
3 Centuries for Shikhar Dhawan in the Champions Trophy, the most along with Chris Gayle, Herschelle Gibbs and Sourav Ganguly. Dhawan took only seven innings to score those centuries. Overall, this was his fifth century in ICC ODI tournaments, in 15 innings: he had two hundreds in the 2015 World Cup. For India, only Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar, with seven each, have more centuries in ICC tournaments.
77 Innings taken by Shikhar Dhawan to score ten ODI centuries. He is the third quickest to the milestone after South Africa's duo Quinton de Kock (55 innings) and Hashim Amla (57). Among India batsmen, Kohli was the quickest before Dhawan, getting there in 80 innings.
69.44 Dhawan's average in ODIs against Sri Lanka. He has scored 625 runs in nine innings. This is his highest average against any opposition (batting more than one innings) and the second highest for any batsman against Sri Lanka with minimum of 500 runs. His scores in his previous five ODIs against Sri Lanka are: 94, 113, 79, 91 and 125.
656 Partnership runs by Dhawan and Rohit Sharma in Champions Trophy, the most by any pair in the tournament. They surpassed Chris Gayle and Shivnarine Chanderpaul, who shared 635 runs. In seven matches, Dhawan and Rohit have shared four century partnerships and two fifty-run stands. Incidentally, no other opening pair has scored century partnerships in the last two editions of Champions Trophy whereas Dhawan and Rohit have shared four.
79 Dhawan's average in ODIs in England, the highest among players with 500+ runs. In 11 innings, he has racked up 711 runs with three centuries and three fifties. Among non-England players, only Viv Richards has made more ODI centuries in England (four) than Dhawan's three.
3 Number of consecutive century partnerships between Dhawan and Rohit in ODIs, the first Indian pair to do so. They had added 123 runs against Australia at the SCG in 2016, before partnerships of 136 and 138 in the two Champions Trophy 2017 matches.
1 Virat Kohli was dismissed for a duck for the first time in ICC tournaments (World Cup, Champions Trophy and World T20), across 43 innings. This was his first duck in ODIs in nearly three years: his previous ODI duck was against England in Cardiff in August 2014.
