Leon Johnson to lead WICB President's XI against Australia

Leon Johnson, the Guyana batsman, will lead WICB President's XI in a three-day tour match against Australia at North Sound in Antigua later this month. Carlos Brathwaite, who was included in the West Indies squad for the Tests against England but did not play, has been named vice-captain.

Johnson has played four Tests and scored 275 runs at an average of 39.28, with a highest score of 66. No other player in the 13-member squad has represented West Indies in Test cricket.

The match starts on May 27 and will be Australia's only warm-up ahead of their two-Test series against West Indies beginning on June 3.
