South Africa v United Arab Emirates: AB de Villiers became the third batsman in the history of World Cup's to be dismissed for 99. On Thursday, de Villiers clubbed six fours and four sixes and looked good to reach his 21st ODI ton. But South Africa's talisman then sliced a wide ball, from Kamran Shahzad, to short-third man. A crop of school kids clutched their heads in disbelief, but the man himself walked off with a smile. De Villiers now joins Adam Gilchrist and JP Duminy in the 99-run World Cup club. De Villiers was instrumental in guiding South Africa to a mammoth 341-run total, which is why his innings qualifies for #BendTheRules Moments of the day.
