Dhoni has 38 stumpings in Tests, equalling Syed Kirmani's record for the most stumpings in Tests by an India wicketkeeper, the third highest overall. Mitchell Johnson was stumped by Dhoni off R Ashwin's bowling in the first innings.

7 Number of times Dhoni has made five or more dismissals in an innings. Only four other wicketkeepers have made five-plus dismissals in an innings on more occasions that him. Mark Boucher leads this list with 14, followed by Rod Marsh (12), Ian Healy (11) and Adam Gilchrist (8).
