Zimbabwe recall Tafadzwa Kamungozi for World T20

Zimbabwe have recalled legspinner Tafadzwa Kamungozi to their squad for the World Twenty20

Zimbabwe have recalled legspinner Tafadzwa Kamungozi to their squad for the World Twenty20.
Kamungozi had made his ODI debut at the age of 19 against South Africa but played the last of his four international matches just a month later in October 2006.
Chamu Chibhabha and Tinotenda Mutumbodzi, who were part of the T20 squad for the series against Pakistan last year, have been named as non-travelling reserves. The Zimbabwe squad will be led by Brendan Taylor.
Zimbabwe were the last of the 16 participating countries to announce their squad. The ICC had allowed Zimbabwe more time after a two-month player strike over non-payment of salaries brought domestic cricket in the country to a halt. The strike ended earlier this month after Zimbabwe Cricket obtained sufficient funds to pay the players.
Once the strike was called off, players, divided into three teams, participated in six practice T20 games before the squad announcement. The final squad will prepare for the World T20 with a camp at the Harare Sports Club, which is expected to continue until the team's departure to Bangladesh on March 5.
As one of the bottom-placed teams in the World T20 rankings, Zimbabwe will have to compete with Ireland, Netherlands and United Arab Emirates to progress to the Super 10 stage. They are scheduled to play two warm-up games against Hong Kong and Afghanistan on March 12 and 14, before their first match of the tournament against Ireland on March 17.
Zimbabwe squad: Sikandar Raza, Tendai Chatara, Elton Chigumbura, Tafadzwa Kamungozi, Timycen Maruma, Hamilton Masakadza, Shingi Masakadza, Natsai M'shangwe, Tinashe Panyangara, Vusi Sibanda, Brendan Taylor (capt), Prosper Utseya, Brian Vitori, Malcolm Waller, Sean Williams
Non-travelling reserves: Chamu Chibhabha, Tinotenda Mawoyo, Tawanda Mupariwa, Forster Mutizwa, Tinotenda Mutombodzi.
