Tel Aviv and Ashdod both preserved their unbeaten records in Division 2 T20 action over the weekend, Tel Aviv defeating Lod by seven wickets in Lod on Friday thanks to an undefeated half century by David Lashansky (56*), whilst Ashdod A won their game against Dimona A by 47 runs in Ashdod on Saturday, despite a good all round performance by Nir Dokarkar for the visitors (three for 23 with the ball followed by an innings of 41).
The final qualifier from the Central group seems like will only be decided in the final round robin game between Tel Aviv and Young Sri Lanka, whilst Ashdod will reach the final from the Southern group provided they can win their remaining games against Lions Be'er Sheva and Kiryat Gat.
In other matches over the weekend, Lod defeated Ra'anana 2 by seven wickets, successfuuly chasing their 145-run target with 3 overs to spare, and Lions Be'er Sheva proved too strong for Dimona C, Raymond Waskar taking five for 11 in the 27-run win.
