The PCB has warned Shahid Afridi that his career would be at stake should there be any repeat of the scuffing incident in the second Test at Faisalabad.
Afridi was banned for Pakistan's final Test for deliberately walking over the pitch during an interval on the second day of the drawn Test. He will also miss the first two matches of the five ODI series against England, which starts on December 10.
The PCB's chairman, Shahrayar Khan told reporters that Afridi received an official reprimand by the ad-hoc committee. "I have met with him," Khan confirmed, "and also conveyed very clearly to him that his action has brought embarrassment to the team and the country and that, in future, his career would be at stake if he was found involved in such an incident again.
