Dillon and Kelly demolish Windward

Windward Islands 346 and 67 (Dillon 5-28, Kelly 5-34) lost to Trinidad & Tobago 232 and 183 for 3 (Simmons 54) by 7 wickets
Scorecard

Trinidad and Tobago turned the tables and romped to a seven-wicket win over Windward Islands at Guaracara in Trinidad. After falling short of Windward's first-innings score of 346 by 114 runs, T&T were helped by exemplary performances from Richard Kelly - later named Man of the Match - and Mervyn Dillon, who claimed five wickets each. Within 16 overs they bundled Windward out for 67, leaving their own batsmen with a small total to chase. Then Lendl Simmons led the chase to 182 with his 54, studded with six boundaries. Solid contributions from the rest ensured setbacks were few and far between, and the target was reached comfortably, at a rate of less than three an over.

Barbados 204 and 34 for 1 trail Leeward Islands 195 and 286 (Jacobs 105) by 244 runs
Scorecard

Ridley Jacobs dominated the Barbados attack with 105, his third hundred of the series, and was instrumental in helping Leeward Islands to a challenging total on the third day of the Carib Beer Cup clash at St Kitts. Stuart Williams (47) kept him company in a 67-run stand for the sixth wicket while the rest of the top order fell away. Wickets fell immediately after Williams's dismissal, but a complete collapse was averted by Kerry Jeremy, who scored 49 and was part of a record ninth-wicket stand worth 111 runs. Both were aggressive during their stand, scoring in boundaries that did not stop even when the spinners came on to stem the flow of runs.

Before the day ended, Barbados were 34 for 1, still 244 runs behind victory.

Guyana 221 for 3 (Sarwan 97, Deonarine 80*) v Jamaica
