Scorecard
Haryana were within touching distance of winning the Ranji Trophy Plate finals. At close of play on the fourth day at the Devi Lal Stadium in Gurgaon, Services were struggling at 76 for 3, needing a further 388 on the last day to win.
Resuming at 136 for 2 in their second innings, Haryana were propped up by Sunny Singh, who made 118 off 243 balls with 17 fours and a six. None of the other Haryana batsmen topped 50, but Sunny's effort ensured that Haryana could declare at 312 for 8. Amit Mishra then made early inroads when Services batted a second time, taking three wickets in just seven overs.
