6 - India batsmen who have scored more ODI runs than Yuvraj Singh: Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Virat Kohli, Rahul Dravid, MS Dhoni and Mohammad Azharuddin.
42.93 - Yuvraj's ODI batting average in the period from 2005 to 2011, his best years in the format. In 154 innings he passed fifty 43 times, and scored 11 hundreds. Among the batsmen who scored 3000-plus runs during this period, his average was 10th-best. Before the start of 2005 he averaged only 29.86 from 98 innings, while after 2011, he averaged 27.08 in 26 innings.
So overall, Yuvraj averaged 29.26 before 2005 and after 2011, and in that seven-year period in between his average soared to nearly 43.
Yuvraj's ODI career
Period Inns Runs Ave SR 100s/50s MoM
 Jan 2005 to Dec 2011  154  5453  42.93  87.95  11/ 32  18

18 - Man-of-the-Match awards for Yuvraj in ODIs in the period from 2005 to 2011. No other player won as many match awards during this period: MS Dhoni, Shahid Afridi and Shane Watson were next with 15 awards each. Yuvraj also won seven Man-of-the-Series awards, which was again the most in this period.
Overall, Yuvraj won an MoM award once every nine games during his best seven years, and once every 16 games before and after that period. He also won seven Man-of-the-Series awards in his career, the second-highest among all India players after Sachin Tendulkar, who won 14.
57.25 - Yuvraj's batting average in ODI wins, in that seven-year period from 2005 to 2011. Among Indian batsmen, only MS Dhoni (79.47) and Virat Kohli (57.82) had higher averages (with a 1500-run cut-off), while his century count of nine was exceeded by only three batsmen: Ricky Ponting (13), AB de Villiers and Upul Tharanga (10 each).
8254 - ODI runs scored by Yuvraj when batting in the middle order (Nos. 4 to 6). Only three batsmen have scored more runs from these positions: Mahela Jaywardene, Inzamam-ul-Haq, and MS Dhoni. In terms of hundreds from the middle order, Yuvraj is third in the all-time list with 13, next only to AB de Villiers (21) and Ross Taylor (18).
52.71 - Yuvraj's World Cup average; he is one of six Indian batsmen to score 500-plus World Cup runs at a 50-plus average.
1523 - Runs for Yuvraj in ODIs against England, the most by an India batsman. His average of 50.76 is also the highest among the seven India batsmen who have scored 1000-plus runs against them. England were quite clearly his favourite opposition, and not only because of the six sixes he hit off Stuart Broad in the World T20 in 2007.
