The schedule for the Women's Ashes which begins later this month has been amended to allow Australia and England more time to complete their quarantine and preparation ahead of the ODI World Cup in New Zealand.
North Sydney Oval has also lost the two T20Is it was due to host in the multi-format series with those matches now being played before the one-off Test and entirely in Adelaide on January 20, 22 and 23.
The Test in Canberra retains its original position of January 27-30 and will then be followed by the three ODIs - the first will also be staged at Manuka Oval as a day-nighter before the last two games head to Melbourne. Overall it means the Ashes will finish 11 days earlier than originally planned.
The changes mean that the A series that will run alongside has also been adjusted with the three T20s to be played in Adelaide and three one-dayers in Canberra.
The annual Governor-General's XI match will not proceed as planned, with the tour match expected to return next season.
"We have needed to make changes to the schedule and we're grateful to all parties for their flexibility in ensuring that both Australia and England can travel to New Zealand with sufficient time to complete their mandatory quarantine period ahead of what will be an exciting tournament for both teams," Cricket Australia CEO Nick Hockley said.
England will still depart for the tour on January 7 as previously planned. Australia are expected to name their squad next week and head into a camp just three days before the series begins.
The World Cup is due to start on March 4. Anyone travelling to New Zealand is still required to undergo quarantine on arrival - currently for a minimum of 10 days - with the international border reopening delayed until later this year.
