Win with bonus point: 5 points
Win without bonus point: 4 points
Tie: 2 points
No result: 2 points
Loss: 0 points

In the event of a draw in points at the end of the preliminary round, teams going through to the third and fourth place play off and the final will be decided as follows:

I. The team with the most number of wins.
II. If still equal, the team with the most number of wins over the other team(s) who are equal on points and have the same number of wins.
III. If still equal, the team with the highest number of bonus points.
IV. If still equal, the team with the highest net run rate.
V. The team with the best over rate throughout the series.

Bonus Points

The team that achieves a run rate of 1.25 times that of the opposition shall be awarded one bonus point. A team's run rate will be calculated by reference to the runs scored in an innings divided by the number of overs faced. Where a side is all out, the number of overs to be used is the maximum number of overs that side was otherwise eligible to face. Where matches are shortened and targets revised through the Duckworth/Lewis system, the par score calculated will be used in the bonus point calculation. In a match declared as no result, run rate is not applicable.

Net Run Rate

Net run rate is calculated by subtracting the run rate achieved by a team's opponents in all matches from the run rate achieved by that team in all matches.
