This really was god awful. Firstly, Johnson is injured and possibly needs surgery, secondly Hussey and Ponting are not 39! Thirdly, Pat Cummins is injured to the point where he doesnt feel he could exert himself 100%. The changes have been brought about through injury not through disrespect to the kiwis! Plus it is a good opportunity to reward some bowlers who have been bowling well in shield cricket (i.e. Cutting and Patterson).
