23.4 to KS Williamson, lbw! Williamson has been bogged down for a while now and Starc's taken him out with a yorker. That is plumb. Williamson had moved a long way across his crease and was in an awkward position to play the yorker. He tried to defend but the ball beat his outside edge, as he was squared up, and crashed into his back pad.. 59/2
33.3 to BB McCullum, short and McCullum cuts hard, top-edges through to Nevill! That was pretty reckless, although we know how effective he can be when it comes off... Done for pace and bounce and Starc has his second. 98/5
46.3 to MJ Santner, bowled him! What a comeback from Starc ... he hit a good length around off and angled it into the left-hander at speed. Santner tried to drive again but the length wasn't full enough. He was beaten on the inside edge and the ball brushed his front pad before going on to hit his stumps. Starc gives Santner a bit of a send-off. 142/6
17.226633.80777100
3.2 to MJ Guptill, seam movement for Hazlewood, pins Guptill on the back leg - given! That looked pretty plumb, the ball nipping past the inside edge as he looked to drive, hit him on the thigh but that's because he was coming forward with a bent leg. Discusses the review with Latham but decides against. Australia - and the pink ball - have their first victim. 7/1
61.2 to BJ Watling, drives on the up, thick-edged, taken! That's a bingo! Watling's doughty knock is over and Australia are closing in on an interesting little session of batting under lights... Wasn't quite there for the stroke and, after showing so much patience, he tried to force it through the covers. 184/8
65.2 to TG Southee, slapped into the sky and taken by Warner it mid-off - he hurls the ball away in celebration and then runs off to get padded up. Southee didn't get hold of another filthy slog and Hazlewood wraps up the innings. 202/10
1755423.17807000
32.6 to LRPL Taylor, the nip-backer and that's got him! Siddle moves on to 199 Test wickets, NZ are four down... Taylor had looked fidgety, eager to get bat on ball, slightly loose drive and the pinkie came back at home to flick the inside edge. 98/4
62.2 to DAJ Bracewell, flicked off the legs... and pouched brilliantly at short midwicket! That's the 200 up for Siddle in Tests, he points to the darkening skies as Bracewell heads off with NZ still shy off the 200 mark (runs) themselves. 194/9
1514222.80717000
31.5 to TWM Latham, attempts to cut, slightly too close - and Nevill catches it right in the fingertips of his gloves! There was an appreciable connection off the toe of the bat but the keeper did superbly to follow the ball and hold on to it. Latham is chiselled out and that will tip the scales back Australia's way. 94/3
52.3 to MD Craig, he's bowled him with a superb delivery! Lyon has flighted this on middle stump line from round the wicket, pitched on a good length, and turned it away from the left-hander past his outside edge, to clip the top of off stump. Craig should have been forward to this, but he went right back into his crease, giving the ball plenty of time and space to do its thing. 164/7

24.4 to AC Voges, late swing again and this time he's got him! Brilliant from Southee, he's got the pink ball talking in the calm of the afternoon and Voges doesn't get lucky a third time... This was a really full ball on off, tempting Voges to try and hit across the line but it straightened and flew off the edge to third slip at waist height. 63/3
1754122.41856000
3.2 to DA Warner, slashes at a full ball, taken at third slip! NZ have their breakthrough and it is the dangerous Warner to go... He was reaching for the shot, chasing the pink with the kitchen sink, Southee took a sharp catch in front of his face. 6/1
67.4 to NM Lyon, got him, steered to gully! NZ get Lyon about 30 runs after they wanted him, a full delivery from Boult and finally he picks out a fielder, thick outside edge and it's safely held. But Australia aren't yet all out.... 190/9
12.131831.47611010
13.1 to JA Burns, bowled him! Bracewell just keeps it on a good length around off, giving the batsmen nothing to work with, Burns is neither forward nor back as he pokes at the ball coming back at him, he gets an inside edge that goes on to his stumps, clipped the top of leg stump. 34/2
36.1 to MR Marsh, pushes forward outside off, nicked to the keeper, Australia are five down! There was no need to play at that line but Marsh hasn't got the patience, at least yet, he followed the ball and brought about his downfall. Although at least it wasn't as bad as his big brother's dismissal. 80/5
72.1 to PM Nevill, gone first ball! Where was Bracewell all this time?! Nevill plays the lofted inside out drive over cover and Santner dives forward in the deep to take a superb catch. Nevill gets applauded warmly by the crowd, he's played a sterling innings for Australia, given them a 22-run lead. 224/10
1615413.37685100
51.5 to JR Hazlewood, bowled him! Santner's got one! His maiden Test wicket. Tossed the ball up across the left-hander from roudn the wicket and zipped it past the outside edge of Hazlewood's prod. The ball clipped the outside of off stump. 116/8
1015325.30406200
48.2 to SPD Smith, he's been caught behind! That is an awesome catch from Watling! Smith gave Craig a mighty charge and swung hard, aiming to clear the long straight boundaries. The ball dipped on him from round the wicket and he was beaten in the flight. It spun quite a bit and took the inside edge and deviated towards the leg side. Watling moved quickly and caught it. Smith was really far outside his crease but Watling did not bother trying to stump him. He knew he had caught him. Massive wicket.. 109/6
48.6 to PM Siddle, and short leg has caught one! New Zealand are on a mighty roll. Siddle strides forward to defend the ball coming at him from round the wicket, he gets an inside edge on to the pad and it pops up for Latham, who takes a sharp catch at head height, he had to reach upwards to his right to get it. 109/7

12.3 to MJ Guptill, nice and full, too juicy for Guptill to resist but he squirts an outside edge straight to gully! Australia knock the first brick out of the wall, Hazlewood getting it into an area where Guptill isn't comfortable, particularly if the ball shapes away as it did. Probably could have left it but nicely bowled, left him quite late. 29/1
14.6 to TWM Latham, got him, Latham is suckered in too! Very full and wide and he flings the hands through an expansive drive, his sole reward is a faint "click" and a pack of celebrating Australians running in... Hazlewood bags and tags another and NZ are having another little wobble here. 32/2
28.3 to LRPL Taylor, lbw! that is full and plumb! After a couple of short of a length balls Hazlewood fires it in full and quick, Taylor is caught in his crease and leans across his stumps as he tries to defendd. He misses the line of the ball and is struck low on the pad. No question there.. 98/5
38.3 to BJ Watling, feels for it and takes the edge, snaffled at second slip! Smith holds on this time, diving low to his left and Australia have a wicket in the second over of the day. Hazelwood draws an indiscretion, the ball full and then seaming late, and Watling, who was dropped by Smith last night, is a goner. 116/6
46.5 to MD Craig, pitched up and Craig drives, there's a thin nick - gone! Nevill takes the catch and Hazlewood has his five-for, reward for bowling some probing stuff in this innings. Craig didn't really get his feet going, playing away from his body. 140/7
62.5 to TA Boult, and he doesn't survive one! Hazlewood has six-for, career-best figures for him. Well bowled! Boult backed away towards leg again and slogged. Hazlewood had full view of the stumps and this time he was on target. Full and straight. Boult missed. Bang.. 208/10
1463502.50671100
1425934.21589000
19.6 to KS Williamson, got him, thin edge to the keeper, Williamson is gone! That's a huge blow to strike, Marsh landing one in the right spot and Williamson felt for it outside off, maybe left him ever so slightly and there was an audible tickle. They check the no-ball but the front foot was fine. 52/3
25.2 to BB McCullum, he's been given lbw! Will McCullum review? Was it too high? He is reviewing the decision. McCullum pushed forward to a good length ball coming into him from over the wicket. The ball hit the pad before it hit the bat. The height looks good as well. Replays indicate that is going to hit two-thirds the way up middle stump. He was beaten by the movement into him, played outside the line of the ball. Marsh is making up for Starc's absence.. 84/4
59.2 to TG Southee, Southee tries to clear the deep backward square leg boundary and fails! The ball was short and Southee pulled it, hitting the ball high and far, but more off the top edge. Hazlewood began to run for the catch from fine leg, but then saw Lyon running for it as well from deep square leg. Hazlewood let Lyon get under it. the ball was swirling as it descended on the edge of the boundary and Lyon judged it superbly, falling to the ground as he caught it. 192/9
1013613.60424100
54.4 to MJ Santner, stumped him! Santner tried to charge again and tried to smash it over the leg side, but Lyon was too smart, he fired the ball faster and wider outside the off stump and beat the powerful bat swing. Santner did a split to try and get his back foot back into his crease, but he was too far out when Nevill took off the bails. He's played a superb innings though. 175/8

5.3 to JA Burns, plays around a full ball, that's out! Pretty plumb lbw and Burns doesn't even consider a review... NZ have an opening, Boult gets this up towards the boots and past the inside edge, hit him just above the ankles and didn't have much further to go. 34/1
13.2 to SPD Smith, pinned in front, up goes the finger! Smith is bound to review, he has to, there might be a question of height... Nigel Llong is back in the game. No inside edge, this is down to ball-tracker, and Eagle Eye says... Gone! Just flicking the leg bail and that is enough to back up Richard Illingworth's on-field decision. Boult has removed Smith once again, Australia's kingpin batsmen are back in the hutch and this game is ON. 66/3
29.2 to AC Voges, got him, edged to second slip! New Zealand strike, as they had to, and it is Boult with a bolt, slanted towards the cordon and Voges followed it this time, a sharp low chance and Southee tumbled to snap it up. 115/4
47.1 to SE Marsh, he's been caught in the slips! Would you believe it! Marsh had just got stuck in the last few overs and now he moves forward and pokes away from his body very tentatively at one that seams away from him from a good length, first slip takes the catch. He's played a superb innings though and is applauded off the Adelaide Oval.. 176/6
49.5 to PM Nevill, he's been caught behind! Boult has five for, he has been sensational today! Nevill tried to drive a full ball that slanted across him before bending back big time, the ball grazed the inside edge and Watling dived to his left to take a stunner. Champion performance from Boult, how New Zealand would have loved a little more from Southee today. 185/7
1123713.36494000
12.1 to DA Warner, forces at a short-length ball and it's taken at second slip! They've got Warner instead... Or have they? This is soooo close to being a no-ball, Bracewell's front foot seemingly right on the line but Nigel Llong - he of the Lyon Preservation Society - decides it is okay and Warner heads off. Huge wicket, another huge moment. Third umpire repaying his debt?. 62/2
602203.66243000
20814.0090100
38.3 to MR Marsh, swings the bat again, this time he top edges towards mid-on... taken by Williamson diving back! This may well be too late but NZ have chipped out a fifth wicket, Marsh's desire to gallop for the line giving Santner a breakthrough. It was short and he tried to pull but sent it straight up. 161/5
