Graeme Porter was a solid performer at state level who was fast-tracked into an Australia side decimated by defections to World Series Cricket to little effect. A middle-order batsman and medium-pace seamer, Porter was part of Australia's 1979 World Cup squad, making two appearances with no real success. He retired in 1982-83, returning three years later to make a one-off appearance for Western Australia.
