Bangladesh v England Test series
England's only previous Test tour to Bangladesh was in 2003, when the hosts found the English new-ball duo of Steve Harmison and Matthew Hoggard too hot to handle. Bangladesh's own new-ball hero Mashrafe Mortaza could not prevent a 2-0 defeat. The minnows were comprehensively outclassed on their maiden voyage to England, where they were trounced by an innings in both matches. The series, which begins on February 28, includes three ODIs and two Tests. England plan to rest some of their key players for this tour, a move that could make the series more evenly contested.
