A peripheral New Zealand XI

Interesting topic indeed, but surely describing it as a "dregs" XI is a little disrespectful. These guys gave their all for their country and it's hardly their fault that there weren't another few hundred million people from whom to select a national cricket team. Personally I'd much rather pay to watch a less talented group of home-grown players with passion than the globalised PC motley crew of UN representatives that cricket teams are fast becoming.

The idea of a peripheral NZ XI is good, but it is hardly dealt with here and not even mentioned until the listener has wasted 13.30 minutes of their life being bored to death. Why trail what might be an interesting topic on the homepage and then produce such a let-down?
