A solid presence with the bat during a 12-year playing career, Keith Greenfield moved seamlessly into the backroom staff at Sussex before being appointed the club's first-ever director of cricket in 2016. Greenfield was performance manager for a decade from 2005, overseeing the academy, and stepped up to take charge of all professional cricket after the departure of Mark Robinson.
