Mistakenly refered to as 'Doc', Dipak is in fact a fully qualified dentist. He represented Kenya in the 1996 World Cup, having made his debut in 1980. He also played in the 1990, 1994 and 1997 ICC Trophies. His highest score was 122 v Bangladesh in 1997, which at that time was the record opening stand of 225 with Kennedy Otieno. He has toured Holland, India, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Bangladesh.
