Jason Kila, a left-hand batsman who bowls orthodox spin, has represented Papua New Guinea at the Under-15 level, was part of the U-19 squad for the 2008 World Cup and was named John Reva's deputy for the 2010 edition of the competition in New Zealand. He plays for the Raukele Club and is regarded as a brilliant fielder. He was on a scholarship to play grade cricket in Brisbane but had to return due to an injured ankle.
