Profile

A tall, left-hand batsman who can fill in as a right-arm medium-pacer, Amal Athulathmudali made his debut for Chilaw Marians in 2008. He rose to prominence in 2009 when he cracked 153 off only 127 balls for Marians against Colts. He's known for his ability to hit a long ball, but has generally struggled for consistency.
