Rumesh Buddika is a left-handed batsman who was selected for the 2010 Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand. He had a good tour of Australia in 2009 averaging 43.86. He also scored a century during the Under-19 tri-series in South Africa before the World Cup. He compares his style of play to Kumar Sangakkara.
