Profile

Steve Chimhamhiwa is a budding Zimbabwean fast bowler who idolises Australia's Brett Lee but compares his style to an international star much closer to home, South Africa's Dale Steyn. Yet to gain much exposure of the first-class game, his best performance was taking five wickets on debut against the Pakistan Under-19s in October 2009. Subsequently, he was the leading wicket-taker with 14 in the series. Chimhamhiwa counts watching Charles Coventry equal the world record for highest individual ODI score with 194 not out against Bangladesh in August 2009.
