Ryan Bailey is a middle-order batsman for Eagles who occasionally bowls medium-pace. He first came into the spotlight during the 2002 Under-19 World Cup, where he was one of South Africa's better batsmen. He made his first-class debut the next year for North West. Since 2004-05 he has been a regular in the Eagles side, consistently turning in solid, if not spectacular, performances.
