Profile

An allrounder who bowls medium-pace swing, Jenny Gunn made her Test debut aged 17 against New Zealand at Scarborough in 2004, batting at No. 7. Her best one-day figures of 4 for 26 were claimed against New Zealand in the same summer. One of the first women to attend Nottinghamshire CCC Cricket Academy, Gunn follows the county coaching and fitness programme with fellow Notts players. Having played club cricket since the age of 10, she now plays for Thrumpton WCC and Nottinghamshire. Her fielding is outstanding. She plays for Western Australia in the women's inter-state competition there. In February 2009, just a few days before the start of the World Cup, Gunn was suspended from bowling domestic games in Australia after her action was deemed illegal, though an investigation by the ICC later gave her the all-clear

All-round medium-pace swing bowler and right hand bat. Jenny is currently in her final year studying at South Nottingham College for a BTech in Sport and Exercise Science. Jenny is also one of the first women to attend Nottinghamshire CCC Cricket Academy and follows the county cricket coaching and fitness programme with fellow Notts players.
