I never thought I would say so, but it seems each version of cricket has its own specialists. Sangakkara had to sit himself out of the IPL matches since he was not scoring freely. And here in an ODI, Sri Lanka could not have won without him. I would prefer to be a ODI/Test specialist over a T20 specialist, since you have to find a way to survive (not just score or take wickets) 50 overs/5 days, while in a T20, even a technically weak player can be a superstar.
