I feel india has to stop playing in our dead pitches and at asian pitches.start playing with pak ,SA,NZ ,Eng in their pitches. Its not gud to be in 1 rank by playing in home pitches and that too with small teams and claiming ourselves as top teams .we have to bring manoj tiwari ,pujara in odi sides . stop clinging to rohit sharma who fire s only in dead pitches and plays like tests in foreign pitches.and india is not playing matches not for support ing him alone. Give as much as games to manoj ,pujara, rahane and bring sanju samson .focus on domestic players also which ganguly Did in past nd brought the great players

dhoni does not support good quick bowlers, and pressure them into bowling slower... just not a good captain imo.... his tactics have always been defensive with bowling.... he's been lucky the batting has been firing most of the time...

My advise to India & Dhoni is to have faith in your capability + play disciplined cricket whether batting or Bowling. Keep calm when short balls are bowled at you & do not swing wildly at them unless you are 100% sure that it is done safely. Just see how many batsmen got out unnecessarily due to short balls in each ODI. NZ know this Indian defect & will keep bowling the same stuff. Use your head- don't be like a Raging Bull in front of a Red flag!. Bulls can't think but Men can. Secondly in bowling keep a tidy line, length & bowl to your field. Economic bowling wins ODI's, even if you do not take any wkts. Bowl @ 4 runs/over covering 50 overs to give a total of 200. That is the target to aim & to Win. 278 in the last match was a winning total but for wild & erratic bowling of the 3 pacers- 173 runs in 24 overs (7 runs/over). 2 spinners gave just 74 runs in 20 overs (3.7 runs/over). Pace Bowlers. Pl. bowl responsibly. Your erratic bowling is losing matches.

Wish the team just follows his advice. Keep it simple, play in the moment and let go of all the other nonsense that may be circling in their heads right now. The team seems deflated on the field right now and Dhoni being overly critical/sarcastic (Wasnt he refering to Varun in his cloaked comment) will only put them off further. Actually Mr Dhoni, the team is making strategic mistakes and you are in charge. Get your fielders in the right spots, push Rohit down the order (he needs to rotate strike and not go for big shots every time) and give Varun the new ball.
