2.3 to Z Crawley, cannons into leg-stump. Slower ball at 112 kph, Crawley was skipping down the track while giving himself room, has an airy waft at it, bat not near the ball, don't think he read the pace. It's a 'you miss, I hit' ball.. 24/1 5.3 to JL Denly, holes out to mid-on. Think he took the pace off a bit again, bowled it on a length and Denly looked to just time it and go over mid-on, ended up taking the bottom hand off the bat while going through with the shot. Jordan runs back from mid-on and takes it, safe as houses.. 51/2

11.3 to JA Leaning, timberrrrrrrr!!! Off stump pegged back at 90 mph! Full with plenty of heat to beat the attempted drive. Leaning is late getting the bat moving and you can see why Mills has gotten a recall for the T20 World Cup.. 94/4 11.4 to JM Cox, full in the channel on fourth stump again at 90 mph angled across the right-hander, Cox doesn't get the feet moving trying to poke at this away from his body, thin edge through to the keeper at shin height.. 94/5 19.1 to G Stewart, length ball angled across Stewart on fifth stump at 85 mph, clears the front leg for a smear over midwicket and takes himself out of reach to connect properly, toe edge through to Salt behind the stumps.. 160/7
4 | 0 | 36 | 1 | 9.00 | 5 | 4 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
16.2 to DJ Bell-Drummond, length ball on middle and leg, heaves this to cow corner. Doesn't get the distance as Bopara circles around to his left along the rope and takes a simple rib height catch in stride five yards in from the rope.. 136/6

10.6 to SW Billings, fullish length on middle, Billings has a swipe across the line and misses, middle and leg stump knocked back. Bopara lets out a roar with a fist pump.. 93/3 |

1.3 to PD Salt, edged behind. Dancing down the track while giving himself room, he was looking to blast this straight, but gets a thin edge that flies to the keeper's right at shoulder height and he grabs it.. 15/1 5.5 to DMW Rawlins, brilliantly caught by deep point diving forward. Looks to charge down and carve it, but gets a leading edge that flies to the deep point fielder who has to run forward and grab it. 39/3 17.3 to CJ Jordan, half-volley on fifth stump at 77 kph, Jordan miscues a slog trying to clear long-off. Simple catch floats to Bell-Drummond eight yards in from the rope, taken at waist height.. 136/8 19.1 to AD Lenham, it's all over! Kent are going to their first final since 2008! Slower ball short on the legs, Lenham flicks a pull high down the throat of deep fine leg. Qais jogs forward and takes this sliding on his knees 10 yards in from the rope. Klaassen holds arms aloft finishing with a four-for. Sussex's season is done.. 147/10

3.6 to LJ Wright, oh he's been bowled when the bowler has followed him backing away. Ricochet off the toe of the bat. He was looking to give himself a lot of room, gets it on the edge of the bat and the ball rolls straight onto the stumps.. 31/2 15.4 to GHS Garton, back of a length on fifth stump, tries to punch this through backward point but comes off the bat much finer than he intended, it flutters to short third man where a very sharp catch is taken by Stewart lunging forward on the ring.. 119/7 18.5 to TS Mills, beautiful slower yorker! Takes the pace of this with a 69 mph delivery landing very very full on off stump. Mills is through his drive too early and off stump is knocked back.. 146/9

8.4 to RS Bopara, beauty. leg-break that pitches on the perfect length after drifting in, drawing Bopara into the drive but zips past and takes the outside edge before settling into the keeper's gloves.. 57/5
2 | 0 | 22 | 1 | 11.00 | 2 | 2 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
7.1 to D Wiese, dragged on Stevens is having a day out! He was looking to cut it away, but the lack of pace and lack of bounce meant he was too early and that's taken the inside edge and boinged int othe stumps. 43/4
3 | 0 | 18 | 1 | 6.00 | 7 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
13.1 to HD Ward, scuffs a simple catch off the toe of the bat to Bell-Drummond at long-off! Very full delivery on off, takes a step down the track to play a lofted drive and it backfires because he gets this too low off the bat nearer the toe, chance floats to Bell-Drummond shuffling forward 10 yards inside the rope to clutch on.. 89/6 |
