It was there to be lofted over backward point, but Quinton needed to clear the ropes to be truly safe, and he can't manage that. Fairly comfortable catch in the deep, and the Super Kings have their first wicket. 33/1 14.2 to MP Breetzke, shimmies across his crease, getting outside the line, looking to take the aerial route over the leg side but merely scuffs a simple catch to short backward square.
