34.6 to JDP Oram, slightly slower from Rampaul, 123kph, Oram looking to send that into orbit, that sneaks under his bat, and past the back pad to crash into leg stump, end of a fighting stand. 117/6 47.5 to BJ Watling, referral, a big appeal for lbw is upheld, Watling argues for a review again, that looked plumb and it is plumb, it was a length ball and he looked to thump that towards midwicket, he missed and was struck low on the pads in front of middle, it was the end of the innings, and only No. 11 to come, so Watling decided to punt on the review, doesn't work this time though, he's a goner, end of a important knock for Watling, with several other keepers looking for a place in the NZ side. 173/9
10 | 0 | 45 | 4 | 4.50 | 36 | 4 | 0 | 6 | 0 | |
1.1 to MJ Guptill, talk about immediate impact! length ball jags away and Guptill pokes at it outside off without moving his feet, gets the outside edge and through to Sammy at second slip, taken low and to his right, Guptill is gone for 1. 3/1 7.2 to DR Flynn, oh dear! just after that audacious shot, Flynn looks to crash a length ball through the covers, inside-edges on to the stumps, perhaps that ball moved in a touch and Flynn didn't adjust for that, his wait for an ODI half-century continues, that average does not make good reading, Russell gets his second wicket. 30/2 9.2 to RJ Nicol, another down for New Zealand, and another for Russell, Nicol so far has chosen which ball to hit judiciously, this time he charges down the track and though it is a short ball, he looks to power it towards midwicket, top edges towards deep square leg, the fielder awaits, and the fears about New Zealand's batting are being realised. 33/3 45.6 to KD Mills, and he takes his fourth off the final delivery of his quota, not the best of deliveries, it was full and sliding down the leg side, whipped towards short fine leg for a catch, a few yards either side of that fielder and that was four. 164/8
10 | 2 | 26 | 2 | 2.60 | 45 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | |
14.4 to DG Brownlie, and Brownlie fails the Narine test, he never looked like passing it, he looked to play that straighter one from the crease, he misses, struck on the pads in front of middle, doesn't take long for the umpire to lift the finger, New Zealand four down, this isn't looking good for them. 48/4 44.2 to AM Ellis, Narine strikes on his second delivery, once more Ellis moves a bit away from leg stump, not the dramatic step away but a more small one, it was an offspinner from Narine, Ellis looked to cut that, he misses and the ball hit the top of middle. 161/7
7 | 0 | 32 | 0 | 4.57 | 24 | 4 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |

6 | 0 | 23 | 1 | 3.83 | 21 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
23.4 to KS Williamson, Sammy gets rid of his opposing number, New Zealand have lost their fifth, KW was looking to run that down to third man, opens the face to a gentle straight back of a length delivery, ends up feathering it through to the keeper, disappointing stroke that. 71/5 |

2.6 to LMP Simmons, Simmons is gone, New Zealand have struck early, that was slanting down the leg side, tickled through to the keeper, who does well to get to his left to catch that, Simmons starts to walk away as he knows he has edged that, the on-field umpire wanted to check for a no-ball, replay suggested Mills had overstepped, I was expecting Simmons to be called back, instead he is sent on his way. 6/1
