39.2 to H Masakadza, another one down, this time it's Masakadza caught! It was short and wide, Masakadza slammed it with hard hands through the off side and Nabi jumped at cover to catch it with both hands. 170/4 41.4 to R Mutumbami, fifth one down, all caught! Mutumbami went down on a knee to sweep that fullish delivery to the leg side, he didn't muscle that very well and Shafiqullah had to dive to his right to get his fingers under it as the ball was dipping. Well done after that misfield in the last over. 183/5

44.3 to Sikandar Raza, inside edge onto the stumps, Raza is gone too! There wasn't much room and the ball nipped in too from outside off, Raza stayed back and tried to steer it to third man with a horizontal bat but got a bottom edge onto the off stump. 198/7 46.6 to AG Cremer, another good catch taken over the head! Cremer got a full delivery and wanted to clear mid-off, he lofted it alright but Nabi backpedalled a few steps and took it very well over his head with both hands. 216/8 48.4 to LM Jongwe, that's gone down third man's throat, third wicket for Dawlat! 140kpmh and it was a short ball, Jongwe pulled and was beaten by pace, the ball took the top edge and flew to Mirwais, who hardly had to move. 226/9

29.2 to MN Waller, catch taken at second attempt in Cape Town and it's the same in Sharjah too - he's cut it straight to point. It was short outside off, he cut it fiercely off the back foot and Hashmatullah Shahidi tried to take it over his head with both hands, the ball popped out and took it comfortably the second time. 130/2 49.1 to TS Chisoro, Chisoro bowled first ball, they are all out for 226! It was on the leg stump and he went for a heave but missed completely, the ball gets the top of leg stump. 226/10

22.5 to PJ Moor, that's gone high again, but he holes out this time to long-on! It was pitched up slightly, and Moor lofted it high and straight down the ground off the front foot, went high but Dawlat hardly had to move for the catch. 92/1 32.5 to CJ Chibhabha, great catch from the captain and look at that beaming smile! Chibhabha went for a slog-sweep when the ball wasn't that full, he tried to go over midwicket but Stanikzai jumped and plucked it out with one hand!. 142/3 43.6 to E Chigumbura, what a way to end the over, Chigumbura is plumb! It was tossed up on the middle stump, nicely flighted, and Chigumbura went for what looked like a premeditated sweep, missed it completely and was trapped right in front of middle. 196/6

0.6 to Noor Ali Zadran, another first wicket for Madziva in the first over! Width again, it was nipping away and Noor Ali chased it without moving his feet and got an inside edge straight to the keeper. 4/1 4.6 to Asghar Afghan, wicket off a full toss, straight to midwicket, oh my! It was angling in towards the pads and was much below waist-height, and he clipped it straight to Chibhabha, who had given a catch to Asghar!. 13/2

10.5 to Rashid Khan, what a catch from the big man, Hamilton Masakadza! That beauty from Jongwe squared up Rashid Khan as it just about held its line, after coming in with the angle. Rashid offered a straight bat and a thick outside edge flew towards point, where Masakadza put in a forward dive rightwards to get both hands under it. 34/3 44.6 to Amir Hamza, that's the last one, caught at mid-off! Hamza chipped the length ball in the air and straight to Waller for a simple catch. Zimbabwe win by 65 runs. 161/10

15.6 to Mohammad Nabi, the googly gets Nabi, another big wicket gone! Nabi went on the back foot to make some room and target the off side, but the ball came in just a bit from outside off, got an inside edge and disturbed the stumps. 52/4 38.3 to Hashmatullah Shahidi, Cremer has done it, traps Shahidi lbw! It turned in from outside off as Shahidi went across and covered his stumps. He missed and the ball hit him almost in front of off stump. Could have been marginally outside too. 133/8

25.4 to Mohammad Shahzad, loud appeal and Shahzad is plumb, big wicket for Zimbabwe! Chibhabha brought ball in from well outside off and Shahzad dangerously went back, right in front of the stumps, to work it to leg, but missed and the ball hit him in front of middle. 88/5 31.1 to Karim Sadiq, Chibhabha does it again, and another batsman is caught! Sadiq drove the length ball in the air off the front foot and could not clear mid-off, where Chisoro went back a few steps to take it easily. 106/6 31.4 to Shafiqullah, the third one for Chibhabha, outside edge well-taken by the keeper! He angled it in from outside off, Shafiqullah poked at it and played inside the line as the ball kissed the outside edge and Mutumbami celebrated as soon as he caught it. 108/7 41.1 to Mirwais Ashraf, number four for Chibhabha, Mirwais slogs and Chibhabha hits! It was angling in towards the off stump, Mirwais played the wrong line completely with his slog and that rammed into the off stump. 147/9 |
