James Turner
James Turner was an opening batsman who played for Union CC and in 1844 became the first man to score a hundred on US soil when he made 120 against the prestigious St George's Club a week after opening for USA in the first international against Canada in 1844 where he top scored in the second innings with 14. He took part in the next three internationals in 1845 and 1846.
