View dismissal AN Cook* lbw b McClenaghan 0 10 9 0 0 0.00
2.3 well bowled! He's given lbw but Cook reviews. Looks out. Well bowled by McClenaghan, beaten by one that nips back off the seam and beats the inside edge. Crashing into middle and leg. A very poor review from the captain. 3/1
View dismissal IR Bell c NL McCullum b McClenaghan 82 146 96 6 1 85.41
34.4 maybe it was a tactical mis-field! Double breakthrough for New Zealand. The return of McClenaghan does the trick again as Bell drives straight to mid-off who was inside the circle. Simple catch. Lazy shot, really bad time to depart. End of a neat of innings 153/4
View dismissal IJL Trott lbw b McClenaghan 37 77 53 4 0 69.81
18.1 full and beats Trott's clip across the line, hit on the pad and given! McClenaghan has done it again, though he's had a bit of assistance from Alastair Cook because that delivery looked like it was missing off stump... England have no reviews left, though, and Trott has to walk. It was Tim Robinson's call again, the ball rapped the pad low in front of off but although it looked like it would have gone on across the stumps, Hawk Eye showed it to be just clipping. So a review wouldn't have saved Trott either 69/2
View dismissal JE Root run out (Guptill/†Ronchi) 33 52 50 1 0 66.00
33.6 Williamson to Bell, breakthrough, against the run of play...worked down the on side, Williamson dived in his follow through which parried it towards midwicket. Because the ball had gone past the non-striker, Root, he stayed in his ground a fraction longer before running...the throw to Ronchi was quite wide of the stumps - although Guptill had been so quick from midwicket - but he did very well to gather it and reach the stumps. Replays show it was a matter of one camera frame, but Root was a inch or two short. 149/3
View dismissal EJG Morgan run out (Guptill) 49 73 40 2 3 122.50
49.3 from Southee, tapped short into the off side and a direct hit runs Morgan out! Superb bit of fielding, he was scampering hard for the single that would take him to fifty but the dive couldn't save him 272/6
View dismissal RS Bopara c Taylor b Williamson 28 43 38 0 0 73.68
45.5 full and straight and Bopara goes big... but not big enough and is caught on the fence at deep midwicket! Bopara unpacked his slog-sweep but the ball came off the top edge and went high rather than far: out rather than six 210/5
JC Buttler not out 47 28 16 6 3 293.75

View dismissal L Ronchi c Trott b Broad 22 24 17 4 0 129.41
5.6 that will improve his mood, Broad's pace - in the high 80s - has troubled Ronchi and he splices a pull which loops to mid-on. The umpire wants to check the no-ball and it is mighty close 39/1
View dismissal MJ Guptill b Tredwell 38 41 36 6 1 105.55
9.5 beauty! Graeme Swann would have been proud of that and spin does for Guptill. Turns sharply from just outside off stump and sails through the gate left by Guptill as he shaped to push into the off side 70/2
View dismissal KS Williamson lbw b Root 19 41 28 1 0 67.85
15.6 tries the same stroke but misses and is plumb lbw right in front of all three, given out immediately, Root sets off an a lap of honour. Williamson tried the same stroke as the ball before but it kept a little low on him and struck him on the back thigh bang in front of middle and off 96/3
View dismissal LRPL Taylor c Bresnan b Tredwell 71 148 84 2 3 84.52
42.5 another slog sweep and this time finds the fielder who is Finn again, he falls backwards again but Tim Bresnan is on hand to complete the catch, a good offload from Finn. He took the catch a foot inside the rope, then steadied himself, realised he didn't have the balance and popped the ball up the Bresnan who pocketed it and claims the dismissal! 235/9
View dismissal C Munro c †Buttler b Bresnan 0 4 1 0 0 0.00
16.2 length ball that slides across the left-hander, Munro pushes at it without really moving his feet and edges to the keeper and collects a golden duck. That was not a good stroke at all, pushes hard a length ball sliding away from him and got a thin edge through to Buttler 97/4
View dismissal BB McCullum* c †Buttler b Tredwell 6 17 12 1 0 50.00
19.5 back and goes to cut and gets an edge to Buttler who has atoned for his missed stumping with a smart catch. That's a big wicket. The delivery was far too flat and straight to cut and McCullum has actually got a toe end on it, reflecting how late on the shot he was 111/5
View dismissal JEC Franklin c Cook b Broad 7 20 19 0 0 36.84
24.4 length ball just outside off, Franklin pushes at it and gets another thick edge and this time it finds Cook in the gully who holds a sharp chance. He was just a little loose outside his off stump, Broad sent another one across him on a length that invited a punching stroke through the off side but he didn't get into it as he needed to and it squirted off the edge to Cook 122/6
View dismissal NL McCullum c Broad b Bresnan 28 43 33 2 0 84.84
34.4 top catch! Superbly taken by Broad back-tracking from mid-off...McCullum tried to go over the infield, the delivery was back of a length and he couldn't get the distance, but it still took a fine effort from Broad 175/7
View dismissal TG Southee c Cook b Finn 15 17 15 3 0 100.00
37.6 and he swings straight to midwicket...was angling towards the pads, tried to go over the leg side, but picked out the captain on the edge of circle 196/8
KD Mills not out 28 42 23 2 1 121.73
View dismissal MJ McClenaghan c Root b Finn 4 18 13 0 0 30.76
46.3 length ball, square driven in the air, times it really well but there's a man out at deep point who takes the catch and England have won. It was back of a length wide of off stump, McClenaghan swung at it and caught it really nicely but the fielder at deep point was in the perfect place 253/10
