Profile

Tim Selwood was an opening batsman who made 18 appearances for Middlesex without once passing fifty - his one-day record was equally inauspicious with 105 runs from nine innings. In 1972-73 he went to New Zealand and played twice for Central Districts, making 89*, double his next-best first-class score, against the touring Pakistanis. He played for Middlesex 2nd XI for a decade from 1963 and subsequently represented Durham and coached Finchley.
