The Leeward Islands and Montserrat fast bowler, Lionel Baker, has signed a two-year contract with Leicestershire.
Baker, 24, has a British passport and played for Walmsley in the Birmingham league this summer, and has represented Monserrat in the Stanford 20/20.
"Lionel spent a few years living and going to school in London, where some of his family lives," Tim Boon, the Leicestershire coach, told the ECB's website. "He came over and netted with us in the summer, and impressed us. He's very keen to play for Leicestershire.
"We're still talking with another fast bowler, and we hope to tie that deal up."
