As part of the base training exercise we looked at the basic box jump and its benefits. Following on that we are going to look at two variations of the box jump that you can incorporate in your training program. It is important that you have a good base before entering into high intensity plyometrics. Also ensure good & stable equipment/benches and footwear to perform these exercises. The box jump and different variations should be part of your exercise routine. With different options and direction changes there are some real benefits in explosive power, strength and balance/stability.
